What is the Nutcracker?
The Nutcracker is a remote controlled vehicle used from 2020 to 2027 by the London Bomb Squad to disarm bombs. There are various models available; the most commonly used model is a model with six wheels, a large bomb container, a robotic arm and a camera.
What is the Nutcracker
used for?
The Nutcracker is used in situations where there is a serious threat for humans. It is not employed in situations where more precision is needed, or when a human needs to be present for on-site decisions.
What about the current situation?
We have a bomb in the embassy building of the Russian Federation in London. We need to get in there fast and disable this bomb. Since the operation will take place on Russian territory, this is a very delicate situation.
Who planted the bomb?
We have no idea. We
got an anonymous phone call. We don't even know if this is a hoax or not. We
can't take the risk however.
Who will control the Nutcracker?
