This is WinAlice, a 'chatbot' program, or 'artificial conversationalist'. Based on Dr. R. Wallace's Alice project, which won the last two Loebner contests. WinAlice has several major enhancements. The core is still the pattern matcher that compares the user's input sentence to about 12.000 patterns. Added features:

• Moods and visual representation of the mood
• Spellchecker that recognizes and corrects most English words, first names and last names
• Code that keeps track of the line of the conversation

• Fixed serious memory leak in fuzzy text matcher
• Replaced OpenPTC by TinyPTC to solve keyboard problems
• Fixed the 'human typist'
